 Tall Cotton Quail Hunting Preserve opened in Murfreesboro, North Carolina following a decline in the wild bird population, giving bird hunters the kind of hunts they remember from childhood. Drawing from past experiences, Tall Cotton strives to meet or exceed your expectations as a great place to hunt. In 2022 Choanoke Outfitters took over the hunting operations of this one-of-a-kind Preserve.

Tall Cotton wants to make your hunting experience reminiscent of days gone by—when hunters worked their dogs in plentiful covey. Seeing a covey rise today gives me the same thrill that it did in my early years of hunting. We want you to share in that sense of exhilaration and camaraderie.
